14:10 Evolutionary Solutions To Tomorrow's Problems

Air warfare has experienced ever accelerating change since WW II. After emerging from the symmetry of the peer-to-peer environment of the Cold War, planners and designers today see ever increasing asymmetry in warfare which requires a fundamental change in the application of technology in air power. Aircraft and applications must now be designed to rapidly adapt to the changing, asymmetric nature of warfare, offering designers and planners myriad challenges.

Richard S. McCrary
Vice President - International Business Development
BOEING DEFENSE, SPACE AND SECURITY

14:50 Networking Break

15:10 Panel Discussion: Is A Networked Communications Capability A Fundamental Necessity?

With the changing nature of warfare, air forces around the world are also requiring different, if not newer, technologies that allow for communications to be networked effectively. In this panel discussion, which will include several of the day one speakers, you will have the opportunity to listen and learn from their perspectives on networked communications’ capability as a fundamental necessity.

  • Discussing the changing nature of warfare
  • Why you need a long term mind set in order to successfully implement a net centric capability
  • What technologies can move your Air Force closer to net centricity in the short term?
